This morning as I was taking my wife to work, I was noticing the thick fog while on our way through the country. It was thick enough that it caused me to drive slower in case a deer decided to appear out it. Along the way someone was driving behind me so close I had no doubt they were in much more of a hurry than I was. As we got more into town the one behind us quickly passed by and ventured onto the interstate. One thing I noticed also was the fog did’t seem as thick once we got into town. It seems like the more trees you have around you the more fog you’ll have and the less trees you have you’ll have less fog. This reminds me of what it is to be a Christian, The Lord has blessed us with some spiritual fog along the way in life so we can perhaps slow down and take note of our surroundings. We’re so busy trying to get somewhere that we miss the blessings God is revealing around us or perhaps a warning that’s right before us. God always has a purpose in play as we venture through life. Just like the fog we were driving in this morning you can rest assured the fogs of life don’t last very long before it lifts to reveal what around us. God knows what He is doing… WE CAN TRUST HIM!!
