Pray on Christian

Good afternoon everyone,

I want to ask a question to the Christian if I may. How long has it been since you tried to pray to the Lord yet you felt so distant from him? It’s as though your prayer was not going above the ceiling. Earlier today I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone and I asked him if he would pray for me because I felt so distant from the Lord. Let me give you an example of what I’m trying to say. If you could imagine those 12 disciples who were with the Lord for 3 1/2 years. I’m sure that each of those 12 disciples at one time or another during those 3 1/2 years had a desire to talk to the Lord, but they chose not to because they wanted to be alone with the Lord while speaking to him. I could just see them as they were anxious to speak to the Lord Jesus, yet even though Jesus was there in their presence, they did not feel right about talking to him at that time. He was distant to them even though He was in their presence. How often we’ve heard Jesus would never leave us nor forsake us and that he would always be there for us. Folks, as I was driving down the road, I begin to pray, and I did so until I felt that I had prayed through. If every day we were dependent upon our feelings when we pray, we may not get far in our prayer life. I will say that when we keep praying till we pray through then it sure does feel good to feel good when we reach the throne room of Heaven. I will end with this thought that if there is ever a time where you don’t feel like praying then my friend that’s when you need to pray. HE IS JUST A PRAYER AWAY. Call on Him while He may be found. Today may be the day that Jesus takes his church out, so I ask… have you called on him for your preparation for eternity?
