Happy Mother's Day 2020

What a wonderful day to remember our mothers. I am reminded of Jesus looking down from the cross in John 19 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. Without a doubt Jesus loved His mother Mary and even while He was on the cross, He took time to make sure His mother was taken care of. What a honor it had to have been to be the mother of the Lord Jesus. Mary was chosen by God Himself to give birth to His Son Jesus. What an honor!! On this Mother's Day 2020, God still places an honor on the Mother and her responsibility to be the mother she ought to be for her children. The mother is a symbol of sweetness in the home and her value is priceless. Her love for her husband, her children and her family as a whole is boundless. As Mary stood and watched her son Jesus on the cross that day, her heart suffered at the sight of her son as He was going through such anguish and pain. The same applies to a loving mother today as she only wants the best for her children and suffers when they hurt for some reason or another. OH WHAT LOVE!! God bless our Mothers on this special day.
