Several days ago I begin constructing a storage building. I already have a concrete floor so I did not have to worry about that. I went up with the framework completing the four sides and had nailed the sheets on the framework when I realized it was time to take a break. I grabbed some water and sit down, leaning on the wall I had just put up. I had sit there for a minute or two when I noticed the wind picking up a bit. I also noticed the wall I was leaning on moving along with the wind. It begin to move back and forth then back and forth as the wind blew. I was a bit surprised at the building moving with the wind as I thought it was strong enough to withstand it. Yet as I looked closer I noticed I had no braces on the corners. I was a little bit surprised at myself having not set those braces in place. Once I connected those braces to the corners then immediately it begin to stand firm with hardly any or no movement with the wind.
So many times in life we are very aware of what we may look like on the outside, till adversities arrives in our lives. Life sends us it's storms, winds and rain and eventually we realize we need more stability in our life. Stability that only comes from the Lord. No matter what your circumstance in life, God will hold you up firm. Have faith in God.
