Someday we will stand before God and give an account of our life. Everyone will stand before Him as God but only a few will stand before Him as their Heavenly Father. You must have a relationship thru His Son Jesus. The Bible says that wide is the gate that leads to destruction and many there be that will go there. The decision NOT to follow God is up to the individual as well as it is TO follow Him. You don’t have to go far to find where someone’s heart is. When you find where their heart is then you will find their treasure. There is nothing wrong with having success, education or even having money. There is nothing wrong with looking back to where you arrived from. Planning for the future has always been a smart thing but how far in the future makes all the difference. I wrote a poem that began with these words: “This world is not my home I’m only passing through”. Folks, what we have in this life is temporal. We don’t know how long we’ll be around so it’s important to be prepared. When I say that, I am not only thinking about the family left behind, but the eternity which lies ahead. We can have the best that life can give us, but if you’ve never asked Christ into your heart then you have nothing. Give Jesus a try for He is what and all you need.
