A Price To Pay:

Billy Graham once said while preaching in New York City years ago that God never intended for prisons to have the job of disciplining the young people of our society, that was to be the job of the parents.” As a parent, I’ve been aware of so many areas where I could have been better in the raising of my kids and it’s discipline that goes along with it. God has a purpose for each of us and part of that is not to be sidetracked by what leads us away from His will for our lives. That only happens when we are taught to do the right things according to scripture and to know their is a consequence when we decide not to. Young people cannot just be allowed to go their own way and do their own thing and survive properly. Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they won’t depart from it. When I see Jesus, I see the One who only wanted to please His Father in all He did. The reason was because He knew His Heavenly Father was Holy and totally separate from sin and never led Him in the wrong direction. Folks, that's our responsibility to our children as we raise them each day. Raise them to do the right things, yet let them see you do the right way by the way you live before them. For children to honor their parents, the parents must live honorably before their kids.
