I was listening to a message this morning from Adrian Rogers the longtime pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church in suburban Memphis and the three-time Southern Baptist Convention president. Adrian Rogers has been home with the Lord since 2005. He used an illustration of a woman who had been married four times in her lifetime. The first man she married was a banker, the second man was an actor, the third man was a preacher while the fourth man she married was an undertaker. If you study that you’ll find that she was trying to be prepared for the future. In the order from the first to the last she married: 1 for the money 2 for the show 3 to get ready and 4 to go. It’s always good to be prepared for the future yet being prepared for eternity is quite different as you could imagine. All the preparations could help you on this side of eternity but you’ll eventually just leave it all behind. Have you truly made preparations for eternity? Have you made you preparations to go to Heaven when you die? Now is the acceptable time of Salvation through Christ Jesus. If you don’t know Him as Lord of your life then call on Him today. He is waiting for you to talk to Him today. May God Bless!!!
